How to search for the best name
We recommend GoDaddy.com for purchasing names, but they, like most companies only let you search one name-one extention at a time.
We use NetWorkSolutions.com to seach for names. They let you search up to 10 names at once, with every possible extention and provide you with similar names that are available. In the early days of the internet this company was the first and only licensed domain name provider. Today they are a bit pricey.
If a name you like is not available, type that name into your browser and see where it takes you. A lot of times a name is for sale by the owner.
Networksolutions also has a "WHO IS" data base that will tell you who owns any domain name.
